And not only are the huge range of holiday cottages in North Devon excellent, there are also plenty of top class visitor attractions to visit and to keep you and your family entertained whilst you are staying there, and not all of them are going to be costing you a fortune! For a start, there are plenty of pretty thatched cottage villages to have a walk around, photograph and just generally enjoy the lazy warm summer days. Wander around the pretty villages and take in the atmosphere and have a dream that one day you too will also own and live in a traditional thatched cottage!

Paignton Zoo is also within an easy reach of accommodation in this area, which is home to a wide variety of wonderful animals and exotic plants.
There are also a huge range of sporting activities in the area. Surfing along with surfing instruction is available on certain beaches and there are plenty of golf courses for the enthusiasts. There are also various local establishments that can offer paintballing, swimming, quadbike driving, walking, cycling and sea fishing opportunities.

There are also some log cabins set in woodlands, with wildlife all around them . A lot of the cottages will be within easy reach of the local pub, excellent for quiet drinks or meals out to save on the cooking and washing.
